Job Title: Data Architect

Location: Minimum 4 Days onsite /week in Mount Laurel, NJ

Duration: 6+ Months Rolling Contract (Current End Date: 4/30/2026)

Pay Rate: C2C/ 1099: $80/hour or W2: $73/hour

Process: 2 rounds of interviews

Overview:

A seasoned Data Architect is needed to support the Financial Crimes division. This is a highly technical, hands-on role focused on enterprise data architecture and governance. The ideal candidate has over 15 years of experience in banking, with deep expertise in Azure, Databricks, Informatica, and financial crime domains including AML and KYC. The role requires strong alignment with compliance and risk management, and the ability to design and deliver scalable, enterprise-grade data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement scalable, secure data platforms and pipelines using Azure, Databricks, and Informatica PowerCenter
• Design and lead the development of data products and support a Data Mesh architecture for enterprise consumption
• Implement and maintain Master Data Management (MDM) solutions using Informatica, and establish governance frameworks with Collibra
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver advanced AI/BI/analytics and reporting for financial crime use cases, including AML and KYC
• Translate regulatory and compliance requirements into practical data architecture and governance frameworks
• Ensure alignment with enterprise data management standards and long-term strategic goals
• Provide expertise in data modeling, metadata management, data lineage, and data quality

Required Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in data architecture within banking and financial services
• Hands-on experience with Azure, Databricks, and Informatica PowerCenter
• Deep expertise in MDM (Informatica) and Data Governance (Collibra)
• Proven experience with data products, data mesh, and distributed data systems
• Functional knowledge in Financial Crimes, particularly AML and KYC
• Background supporting AI-driven analytics in regulated environments
• Demonstrated thought leadership through publications or industry credentials

*This is an onsite position* in Mount Laurel, NJ. Only candidates who are available for at least 4 days per week onsite will be considered.
