Position Overview

We are seeking a CPA with 10+ years of hedge fund accounting experience to support accounting and financial reporting activities for hedge funds, managed accounts, and corporate trading entities. This role is responsible for fund NAV oversight, financial statement preparation and review, management and incentive fee calculations, audit support, and process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and review of annual fund financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Perform detailed reviews of financial statements and supporting documentation for hedge funds, including stand-alone and master-feeder structures, as well as corporate trading entities.
• Review monthly estimated and final NAV reporting packages prepared by external fund administrators.
• Monitor fund activity and accounting transactions throughout the reporting cycle.
• Partner with internal teams, fund administrators, auditors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
• Work with administrators and prime brokers to support daily reconciliation activities.
• Validate management fee and incentive fee calculations and prepare related payment requests.
• Maintain and update process documentation, operating procedures, and onboarding materials for new funds.
• Identify opportunities to improve, automate, and streamline existing workflows.
• Contribute effectively in a collaborative, detail-oriented environment.

Required Qualifications

• CPA designation required.
• 10+ years of hedge fund accounting experience.
• Experience working with hedge funds, managed accounts, and related investment structures.
• Strong understanding of fund NAV processes and financial reporting.
• Experience coordinating with fund administrators, auditors, and internal business partners.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact with external parties and senior leadership.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
