Cloud Technology Audit Manager

Level: VP
Compensation: Base $180K–$190K + 10%-15% bonus
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Technology Audit Manager to join our Technology Internal Audit team, with a primary focus on Cloud audits—specifically Google Cloud and Azure.
In this role, you will specialize in Cloud audit coverage, planning and managing audits while collaborating with auditors across different business areas. You will assess infrastructure risks and controls, working with a range of technologies, including Cloud platforms, Operating Systems, Databases, and Network Components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Cloud audit initiatives, focusing on Google Cloud and Azure within a multi-cloud environment.
- Plan, manage, and execute end-to-end audits in a risk-focused manner, adhering to departmental and professional standards.
- Engage with stakeholders to define audit scope, risks, and issues.
- Assess, test, and report on control environment effectiveness.
- Conduct risk analysis, identify root causes, and recommend control improvements where weaknesses are detected.
- Finalize audit findings and provide well-informed judgments on the control environment.
- Communicate audit results clearly and effectively—both verbally and in writing—to audit management and senior stakeholders.
- Implement and oversee a Continuous Auditing program, tracking key metrics to detect control issues and adverse trends.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory developments, and key technology initiatives.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, promoting a culture of engagement, teamwork, and innovation.
- Identify automation opportunities to improve the audit process and coordinate timely software development requests.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in Technology, Audit, or Technology Risk.
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience auditing cloud technologies, specifically Google Cloud and Azure.
- Experience working in an Agile environment with strong project management skills.
- Knowledge of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products, including auditing Microsoft 365.
- Certifications preferred:
- System security certifications (CISA, CISM, CISSP, etc.)
- Cloud security certifications (CCSP, CCSK, AWS certifications, etc.)
- Strong understanding of Technology Infrastructure Risk & Controls, including:
- Cloud security & administration
- Networks & Operating Systems (Windows, Linux/UNIX)
- Testing strategies & Database security
- Familiarity with technology controls, governance, assessments, and infrastructure tools & platforms.
